CloserSuite is a sales and advertising CRM operated by Marketing Semplice. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
The data controller is Marketing Semplice, VAT number [VAT], registered at [ADDRESS], Italy. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to privacy@closersuite.io.
We collect three kinds of data.
If a customer connects their Meta advertising account, we use the Meta Marketing API with read-only access (the ads_read permission) to retrieve their advertising spend and the names and identifiers of their campaigns, ad sets and ads.
We use this only to show that customer how their own advertising spend compares to the sales they record in CloserSuite. We never create, change, pause or publish anything in their ad account. We never combine one customer's Meta data with another's, and we never sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising or profiling of our own. Only users of the organisation that connected the account can see it.
A customer can disconnect their Meta account at any time from the Integrations page in CloserSuite. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token immediately and stops any further retrieval.
We process account data to run the service and bill for it, on the basis of our contract with the customer. We process customer data and connected platform data on the customer's documented instructions, as their processor. We do not use any of it to train advertising models or to build profiles.
We use a small number of providers to run the service: our hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, and Sentry for error monitoring. Each acts as our processor under contract and may only use the data to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data.
We keep customer data for as long as the customer's account is active. When an account is closed we delete its data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep invoices and accounting records for longer. Access tokens for connected accounts are deleted as soon as the integration is disconnected.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to privacy@closersuite.io and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian supervisory authority.
To have your data deleted, see our data deletion instructions.
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Credentials for connected accounts are encrypted at rest in our database, and access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify account owners by email.
